One more sleep!

M comes home in one more sleep. He has been gone for six weeks, and I miss him terribly. I cannot wait to see him!

I just got back from the Island. I went over yesterday morning and I came back this evening. I had lots and lots of family time, and lots of quality time with my favourite bride-to-be, dear Rosey. And of course there was opening night of Buddy Holly at the Centre. I would comment more on the show, but I prefer to rant in private. Contact me if you want an earful.

Did I mention that it's one more sleep? :)

Oh happy day

In a few hours, I will be getting on a plane to go see M in Ottawa. I cannot think straight at the moment, but I must somehow pull myself together and pack and make a side trip to get my license and registration renewed. Deep breaths, Lynda.

Birthday pupcakes

It's a coworker's birthday tomorrow, so I decided to make her some cupcakes. She just got a golden retriever puppy, so I decided to make her some puppy-like cupcakes, or pupcakes. Can you believe it took me all night to come up with the name "pupcakes"? It so obvious.

I was originally planning on using the food colouring to make the icing the same colour as her dog, but then I thought that might be a little creepy, so I settled on white terriers. Almost too cute to eat.

Actually, they have so much sugar in the icing, I don't think I can eat any at all.
