The hills are alive...
The Sound of Music has now been pushed back into my Top 5 Favourite Musicals of All Time. (Sorry, Oklahoma, you're down to number 6).
I saw in on stage tonight at The Playhouse. It was fantastic. It's such a freaking fantastic show. I had almost forgotten its awesomeness.
Now I must find my cd. And perhaps order the DVD. And perhaps plan a singalong party.

Ahh! The Sound of Music... I went to Salzurg, Austria (where it all took place in real life) and we went on a Sound of Music Bus tour and there were only 10 people or so on it. At one point the tour guide wanted someone to sing. Of course, me being the keen person that I am was sitting right at the front (I was travelling with 2 other girls so they sat together and me by myself), so what does the tour guide do, but make me sing My Favourite Things... by myself!!!! haha it was fun though (after the initial embarrassment!)
So we had the Von Trapp family in to see Rita's concert at the end of February, and while I was on cloud nine meeting them and letting them backstage, none of my three counter staff had seen the movie or the play! We DEFINITELY need a summer sing-along.
Sing-Along!!! You know I'm in!
