Sniff.

These are desperate times indeed, my friends. My doctor is away until December 17th. I filled the antibiotic prescription she gave to me last time I visited her. I bought a super duper nasal rinse system. I bought pills with bacteria in them so I don't throw my intestinal flora out of whack. I shall conquer this.

Oh I feel your pain! My follow up doctor's appointment is tomorrow and my sinuses are howling in protest.

Poor Rosey! I'm sure you'll feel better soon, right? BTW, do antibiotics make your insides all wonky? Because mine are, and it's only been two doses.

It's a good idea to follow up your cold with a pro-biotic (so the naturopath tells me). Check a store like the Root Cellar, they should have someone there to give you suggestions!

Laura, what's a pro-biotic? That's what's in yougurt, right?

Lynda, my doctor said my sinuses are even worse than they are before, so it's a whole new set of antibiotics for me! Apparently I can expect this to last another 2 to 5 weeks. Ugh.

Antibiotics don't usually make my insides funny, but maybe I'm usually so sick that by the time I get them I don't even notice if they make something else weird because I just want to feel better.

Ugh indeed Rosey. Another set of antibiotics? We should call ourselves the sinus sisters.

I'm trying not to be freaked out by ingesting a capusle with 4 billion active cells of acidophilus bacteria every time I eat. I'm trying.
