I just finished reading The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

At 8:36 p.m., Ash said...: I haven't read the book but I saw the movie and there are no words to describe how deeply disturbed I felt afterwards. I've been bothered by movies before but nothing that even remotely compares to this. When the lights came up at the end of it, every single person in the theatre just had this horrified expression on their face and their eyes were wide open from shock but no one said a word; everyone just exited in complete silence.
At 12:33 p.m., LuLu said...: Okay, thanks for the notice, I will now remove that from our foreign film/docu viewing list...which has NOT been going well. We watched The Counterfeiters after 4 Months, 3 Weeks, 2 Days and and Joyeux Noel and we're just sad. Do they make happy foreign films?
