Like a bee

Um, I am busy. I went to Toronto for a conference on the weekend, and then this week at work has been absolutely insane. And it's only Tuesday.

So much work to do. So little time.

The beginning of the end.

I knew this was coming. I should have stocked up. What will I do without my Pepsi in a glass bottle??

These are the snazzy new sneakers that I bought on Thursday.

I am now officially in love with them.

They are, quite possibly, the coolest pair of sneakers I have ever owned. The best part is the velcro.

Here you see that the bottom two straps are criss crossed. This is in honour of my friend Emily. I bought my sneakers because I was inspired by her very snazzy sneakers.

Today was the last choir practice of the semester. We had a dress rehearsal for our concert tomorrow evening. Emily and I have finally made it to the big time - we're standing in the very back row for the concert. I'm totally going to have choir withdrawal until September.

Dammit!

Oh my, how the week does fly by.

Tonight Michelle and I continued her birthday celebrations by shopping and and eating DQ ice cream cake. Just to let you all know, RW and Co. has opened a store in Freddy, and I sort of indulged a little bit. But it was entirely justified, because they were clothes I needed for work. And I totally needed the sweater I got at Roots. It was on sale. And it's pretty. And I totally needed the new pair of sneakers I got at Payless. They're so snazzy. They have velcro, and I'm wearing them right now.

And really, what better way to top of the evening than ice cream cake? Dammit!!!
